Since I've been dealing with two sick little boys all week I HAD to get out of the house tonight! So where else to go but CVS right? I did three transactions while I was there. This week isn't too good when it comes to ECBs deals but they did have some others that I wanted to score on!
Here is a breakdown of what I bought:
Trans #1:
2 Colgate toothpastes 2/$5, get $2
used $.75 Colgate coupon
used $1 Colgate coupon
Huggies pull-ups $8.88
used $2 Huggies coupon
2 packs 16 qt. storage containers $6.99 (BOGO)ss
used $5/$20 CVS coupon
used $9.99 ECB
=$3.08 OOP, received $2 ECBs
Trans #2:
2 Oust air freshener $3.99 each, get $3
used BOGO Oust coupon
2 Wonka gummies 2/$4, get $1
used (2) $1 Wonka coupons
2 Bioluxe products $9.99 (BOGO)
-look for ones with try me free rebate
2 Sterilite containers $5.99 (BOGO)
used $5/$20 CVS coupon
used $10 ECBs
=$8.35 OOP, received $7 ECBs + $9.99 rebate for Bioluxe
Trans #3:
Huggies $8.88
used $2 Huggies coupon
2 All HE laundry detergent $3.99 each
used (2) $2 All coupons
2 Bioluxe products $9.99 (BOGO)
-look for ones with TMF rebate
used $5/$20 CVS coupon
used $13.97 ECBs
=$2.14 OOP + $9.99 Bioluxe rebate
So as you can see I did use up $33.96 in ECBs and only received $9 back BUT I will be getting another $18.97 back in the form of prepaid Visa cards so I really don't have anything to complain about. As I said before, CVS had some other deals that I wanted to do including the storage containers (for my stockpile), the Bioluxe rebates and the Huggies. These transactions are some perfect examples of how you can use up ECBs - you might not earn the same amount back but you still have some to roll for next time. And look at all the stuff I got! This is the first trip in quite awhile that I will be able to use everything that I bought in all of my transactions for one day :)
