Target Trip $95 Savings!

Ugh, does anyone else have problems reading Targets receipts?  I'll explain at the end of the post.

I had another wonderful trip to Target again.  And my favorite cashier from last time was working too!!  My subtotal came to $113 but after coupons/gift cards I only paid $31!!  Here is what I got:
Pictured above:
4 John Freida products $5.99 each
used (4) $5 JF coupons - only 2 were rung up though
used (2) $3/2 Target JF coupons
7 Q-tips $1.89, get $5 gc wyb 4 Q-tips products
Q-tips $2.39
5 packs Up&Up baby food $0.77 each
used (5) $0.50 Up&Up baby care item coupons

2 Kraft dressings $1.59 each
used $1/2 Kraft coupon

3 boxes Cars cereal $2.50 each
used $1/3 Kellogg's cereal coupon
used $1/3 Target coupon
3 boxes Kellogg's cereal $8.87 total

Monkey toothbrush holder $9.99

Monkey tumbler cup $9.99
used $10 Target bathroom coupon
2 pkgs. Oreos $2.79 each
used $1/2 Nabisco coupon
used $1/2 Target Oreo coupon
used (4) $5 Target gift cards
received $0.20 for shopping bags
=$31.97 OOP, received $10 in Target gift cards

So once I got home and started looking over my receipt I noticed that only 2 of the $5 JF coupons were rung up.  This is so frustrating and annoying since now I'll have to go back and get the refund on two of the shampoos.  I'm just glad I have more of the coupons so I can do that deal a couple more times.

On a happier note are those monkey bathroom items not the cutest things ever??  I LOVE the $10 bathroom coupon!  I didn't see a soap dish tonight though so I'll have to check for one the next time I get there.

I hope they get the Q-tips restocked too.  Although the next time I do the deal I'll do the $2.39 size packages since you get 100 more for just $0.20 difference.

Target Trip 6/13

I heard about some great Target coupons and I just could not pass up the deals!  Here is what I got:

2 packs of Dannon Danimals (not pictured) $2.74
used (2) $1 Danimals coupon
used (2) $1 Danimals Target coupon
2 packs of socks for Logan $2
4 packs Up&Up baby food $.082
used (4) $0.50 Up&Up Target baby item coupon
2 boxes Cheez It crackers $2.99
used (2) $0.70 Cheez It coupons
Bathroom rug $9.99
used $10 Target bathroom item coupon
Bathroom rug $14.99
used $10 Target bathroom item coupon
=$16.86 OOP

I was so happy with my purchase tonight considering I got everything pictured for the price of the one bathroom rug.  The bathroom coupon has NO restrictions on it meaning it's not brand specific or item specific.  So you could, basically, use it for anything for the bathroom!  Same with the baby item coupon.  I'm hoping to go back and get some more of the baby food since the twins are eating between 8-10 containers a day so 32 cents is a GREAT stock-up price!

"Are you going to Extreme Coupon it?" she asked.

That's what the cashier asked when I began to check-out at Target tonight :)  I had a wonderful trip there - by far the best shopping trip that I've had there in a long, long time.  I actually MADE money there!!  Here is what I got:

Pacifiers for Xander $3.99
Pacifiers for Oliver $4.29
3 packs of socks $10 (will be returning 2 packs - I'll explain)
Pampers $8.99, get $5 gift card wyb 3 Huggies or Pampers

used $50 purchase coupon (receive $5 gift card when you spend $50)
=$16.76 OOP, received $20 in gift cards!!  $3.24 moneymaker!

I had not intended to buy the socks but they were on an endcap that had them clearanced to $2/3 pack but when I got home I noticed that two of the packs rang up at $4.  I'll return the two that were regularly priced and get two more of the clearanced packs.  Have I confused you?  It's late and I think I've confused myself.

Ok, onto my next purchase.

I ran to CVS after my great trip to Target.  As I walked through the door the cashier reminded me that they closed in 7 minutes.  I had my list so I wasn't too worried.  Here is what I purchased:

5 Powerades 5/$5, get $2 wyb 5
Huggies diapers $8.99, get $2
used $2 Huggies coupon
3 Motrin PM $4 each, get $3 each
used (3) $1 Motrin PM coupons
Zyrtec $5.99, get $5.99
used $2 Zyrtec coupon
used $5/$20 CVS coupon
used $5 in ECBs
=$16.60 OOP, received $18.99 in ECBs

If I'd have split this up into a couple of different transactions by OOP would have been much lower but since I only had 7 minutes I decided to do them all together.  I did manage to build my ECBs by almost $14 so I can't complain about that!
