Cash Wise

I'm wondering if any of my readers live near Cash Wise grocery store? They are having some great sales this week and I was thinking of posting them but I just want to make sure it's worth my time.

Please comment if it would help you out!

Walmart 8/26

This morning I made a quick run to Walmart with the boys. I wanted to get two items - Air Wick i-motion products and the free soy Glade candle. I was able to get both!!

4 Air Wick i-motion products $5.99 each
1 Air Wick i-motion product $4.50
1 Glade soy candle $2.97
used (5) $6 Air wick coupons
used one get me free Glade coupon
=35 cents OOP!!

I could not believe the great deal I got! These will make great additions to my upcoming garage sale :) I have no idea why one of the Air Wicks was only $4.50 - I bought three of one scent and two of another scent.

I had a really friendly cashier this morning which sometimes is rare at Walmart. She asked me where I found the Glade candle - she's been searching for them since the free coupon was in the paper. I let her know and I also gave her one of my business cards. I'm going to try to be more diligent about handing them out to people who are truly interesting in saving money. And hopefully some of them will sign up for my upcoming class!

use $2 coupon OR
use $1.50 coupon

Carefree pantiliners $3.79, get $3.79
use $1 coupon

Final Trips to Kmart and CVS *UPDATE*

I'm DONE! DONE, DONE and DONE!! Shopping that is - for the week ;) I made my final two trips today. I didn't take a picture of my last Kmart trip. I got more of the same stuff. Instead I decided I would break down the numbers for all the trips:

Also received 7 vouchers (retail value of up to $12 each) for free movie tickets!

Kmart is Wearing Me Out!!

This morning Logan went to daycare so Noah and I hit Kmart yet again this week. I am getting worn out by all these great deals!! I cannot pass up the Axe promotion that is currently going on though! I rolled that deal FOUR times today! Which means I now have FIVE free movie tickets!! I got some more catalina coupons from today's purchases so I plan to go back again on Thursday. Hopefully, the movie theater that takes those coupons will be showing some good movies from now until November 30th :) Here are my purchases from today. I did a total of six transactions:#1:

After that transaction I went out to the truck. Once out there I looked at my receipts and saw that I got more coupons! I received two more $5 Kmart coupons along with more Axe coupons. I unloaded the bags into the truck and since Noah was still in a good mood I decided to go back for more:

My hubby will be smelling wonderful and I'll have a great stockpile for my upcoming garage sale :)
I almost forgot, all the Pert Plus shampoos had a try me free rebate on them so I'll be able to mail off for one of those which means I'll get $2.50 back for that.

If the Axe coupons keep printing out I'll just keep rolling them :) I'm going to do more than one transaction next time since none of the $/$$ coupons can be combined but that shouldn't be too difficult.

Staples Rebates

HURRY! Some of theses deals end today!

I ran to Staples on Monday because I wanted to try to get all of the free after easy-saver rebate items. They had all of them in stock except one. Since they were out of that one I had to find a filler-item to get over the $50 mark. I wanted to use the Office Depot $10/$50 coupon since Staples accepts competitor coupons. Here is what I got:

2 pkgs. printer paper $4.99 each
will receive $7.98 back in ESR
1 pkg. bright printer paper $11.99
will receive $10.99 back in ESR
1 pkg. dry-erase markers $3.99
will receive $3.99 back in ESR
1 Casio label maker $14.99
will receive $15 Visa gift card
1 Norton anti-virus software $59.99
will receive $40 Visa gift card
5 notebooks $.01 each

Since I ended up being way over the $50 mark I didn't need to get the notebooks but for only a penny it's a great deal :) I will get back $77.96 in checks and gift cards. Since I also have a Staples reward card I will earn $9.10 towards that (total before tax).

All of this stuff for under $20 - not too bad!!
